VLCC Enchanting Eyes Kajal - Review

There isn't a single eye makeup I can do without kajal. Eyes are particularly susceptible and therefore, lesser the chemicals we use better it is for us. I received VLCC enchanting eyes recently along with few goodies. I have been wearing it this week and here’s my detailed review.

Packaging: The packaging of the VLCC Enchanting eyes Kajal is as appealing as its name is. The kajal itself comes in the form of a black pen with information printed on it with turquoise-orange. It is essentially a twist up pen, which is very easily retractable. The complete apparatus of ‘twisting up and retracting back’ works smoothly. The exciting twist up packaging saves from the pain of sharpening the kajal every time.  On the contrary one also need to compromise with the thickness of your line as it many times fails to create a sharp, clean line.

My take on VLCC enchanting eyes kajal

Color,Texture and Finish: The first swipe itself gave blackest of black result. The kajal is super pigmented which is even good for lower as well as upper eye lash. It is creamy yet it dries semi-matte without parching or being blistering. The pigmentation is great and you can’t find any grey traces. The kajal is so smooth that it won't haul or pull the lash line and applies evenly. As far the richness of the color and softness of the formula goes, it surely beats Lotus colorkick kajal – my regular wear. If you’re someone who likes a smokier, slightly smudged kajal, you might like this one.

The formula of this kajal  is really comfortable on my watery and perceptive eyes. So this kajal is meant for all kind of eyes.
Staying power: The staying power of this kajal is not so great. It stayed on my eyes for 5 hours and then starting fading. However, it’s not a convict when you are getting too many good things and at this price point.

What I most like about the kajal
  1.    Super cute packaging
  2.     Highly pigmented
  3.    Smudge proof
  4.    No touch ups
  5.    Awesome texture
  6.    Works both as kajal and eyeliner

What I dislike about VLCC enchanting eyes kajal
  1.    Tip of the kajal gets blunt easily
  2.    Stays on for 4-5 hours

Rating: 4/5

Much love xoxo
