Lost Aadhaar Card? Get a duplicate Aadhaar card

Although Aadhaar Card is a very important document but somehow if you have accidently lost your or misplaced your Aadhaar Card, it is a matter of concern. But you need not to panic because you can have a duplicate Aadhaar Card now.

Here is the simple step by step process by which you can have a duplicate Aadhaar Card

1.       Visit https://resident.uidai.net.in/find-uid-eid

2.       Select “Aadhaar No.(UID)” in the You want to receive your lost

3.       Fill the form as shown below

 

4.       You would be asked to enter your mobile number to get ‘One Time Password’ (OTP) on your phone

5.       When you receive OTP on your mobile, enter that in OTP and click on “Verify OTP” at the below

6.        Then there would be an automated system generated mail will be provided on your registered mobile with your Aadhaar Card number

After these steps

7.       Click on https://eaadhaar.uidai.gov.in/

8.       Under the option click “I have” and fill the other required fields

9.       Click on “Get OTP” again

10.   You will receive an OTP on your registered mobile

11.   Enter the OTP details and then click on ‘Validate and Download’

12.   Now download the e-Aadhaar Card Copy which will be in a pdf form

13.   The PDF file will be password protected and ask for your password which would be your PIN CODE which you entered in the last step

14.   After taking the print out use as an original Aadhaar Card
