How to apply for pan card online

Now users can easily apply for a new Permanent Account Number (PAN) with form 49A. We are providing a step by step guide to apply for a pan card-

Step 1-        

1. Visit https://tin.tin.nsdl.com/pan/newpan.html
2. Fill in the form and note down the 15 digit receipt acknowledgement number.
3. Take a printout of the acknowledgement as well as save it on your computer future reference.

Step 2-              

1. The processing fees for PAN application can be paid by Cheque/DD/Credit Card.
2. If you opt for cheque and Demand draft it must be drawn in favour of NSDL – PAN, payable  at Mumbai.
3. On the event of successful credit card payment an acknowledgement receipt on a seprate window will appear. Applicant should print and save the receipt and send to the NSDL.

   Step 3-

    Documents list need to be dispatched for NSDL

• ID proof
• Driving License
• Passport
• Address proof

1. Affix a coloured photograph of size 3.5 cm x2.5 cm in the space given in the acknowledgement receipt.
2. Put the documents in an envelope and write 'APPLICATION FOR PAN - Acknowledgment Number' and send the envelope at the below mentioned address-
