Under Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana every Indian family
should have minimum a bank account and other benefits associated with the
scheme. To open an account one need to
fill the form in his/her preferred language English/Hindi. Just take a print
out of the form and fill the correct details in the prescribed format.
After filling the form submit it to the nearby bank
associated with Jan Dhan Yojana along with the documents required for opening
an account.
There have been complaints about the unavailability of forms
in many banks due to rush and few people taking unduly advantage. In lieu of
that Government of India has put the forms online for the convenience of the
general public.
